A wonderful homeschool resource to share with your homeschool students

Australian Book Traveller uses living books as living texbooks. It guides your children towards a love of good books using a literature based unit study approach.

Snuggled up, reading together on the couch you begin your Australian tour. With each unit study you open their eyes to different aspects of Australia as you cover Social Studies (HSIE or SOSE), Science and Art.

Witness with delight, their knowledge of Australia’s culture and heritage blossoms in a very natural way.

This homeschool resource is was written for homeschool children by a homeschooling mother. It's suitable for one child or multiple children.

The core Travel Books are aimed at children aged 5-9.

For older primary children (aged 10-13) we have included Extension Books that correspond with the unit studies.

Australian Book Traveller can be a whistle stop tour over 10 weeks or a thorough exploration spread over the year.It can be done more than once as you delve deeper the second time with the extension readers, notebooking pages and reference book.

Here is a sample literature unit study for Wombat Stew.

I have tried to make this easy to do, even mum's new to homeschooling will find most of the basic information they need at their fingertips. Gather the books from the library, snuggle up on the couch and start your Australian tour.
