WELCOME ! THIS SITE IS RUN BY A HOMESCHOOLING MUM FOR HOMESCHOOLING FAMILIES. Hi, I’m Michelle, an Australian homeschooling mum of 4 children. My oldest is 12 and my youngest is 6. Our family have been homeschooling for over seven years.
As a home schooling mother I saw a great lack of Australian material for homeschoolers. Many of the great books and homeschool resources I wanted to use, and recommend other Australian homeschooling friends, were out-of-print or lacked Australian content. I wanted some specifically Australian homeschooling resources for my children. I knew this was the catch-cry of many other Australian and new Zealand home educators and their families.
So, in 2006, Downunder Literature began as a Australian homeschooling publisher and home school resource provider. Since then we have been working hard to put together a great range of home education resources, helpful literature and homeschooling curriculum that will delight your children and you. Home Education English: Our Language arts products are perfect for homeschooling. The copy work and dictation resources use Australian and New Zealand Literature. Home Education Australian History: Our Sunburnt Country is an exceptional Australian living history book. HOME EDUCATION FREE RESOURCES Whilst we have some excellent homeschooling resources for sale we want to be more than just a homeschooling supplier. We want to serve homeschoolers, teachers and parents by giving them access to distinctly Australian and New Zealand books and resource materials.
